Winter is here

2021 is almost done. I found a nice Lion’s Mane mushroom growing on my neighbors tree. I asked him if I could forage it and he said “do whatever you want. It’s in a paper bag in the fridge, and my friend Julio says he will take it and use it for his medicinal elixirs. I have more dehydrated persimmons than any other year, and they are still falling, still on the trees. From what I have seen, it might be a “light” pecan season. Most of trees I am used to foraging have few if any nuts. However, some random trees are kicking off some nice ones.

The Rona craze is still going on. Lots of people still masking up outside! Some comedian friends were chatting about their “booster” shots, and how sick they felt after getting them. I will not be getting any of those shots. I cant wrap my head around how it all got so crazy so fast. I hope things improve. No one even cares if you have caught the virus and have protective antibodies. Its not even discussed. There are some really scary scenes from around the world of the “vax" passport” police.

ITS NOT A VACCINE! Sure it was convenient for pharma to call it a vaccine so they have ZERO liability. But it does not prevent you from catching the virus and does not stop the spread. It is supposed to help prevent hospitalization and death. It is exhausting.
