Its a Hot One in Columbia, South Carolina.

Just popped up from my compost heap.

Wow, the heat and humidity are brutal! From the hours of 11-6 it is a ghost town outside. And it is still over 90 at 8pm! My goodness. Stay hydrated my friends. I find that if I stay relaxed, and don’t stress or rush too much, I can stay alive. How is it hotter here than it is in Florida!? Im glad its raining a bit, otherwise all my veggies would be done. I like to compost and this sweet pumpkin plant popped up from my compost heap. Too bad its next to a power line and “they” spray chemicals on all the plants to keep them off the lines.
